Public Involvement
Active public involvement is an integral part of NASA’s environmental cleanup program at the Santa Susana Field Laboratory
(SSFL). We are committed to helping stakeholders learn more and have a more meaningful involvement in decisions about NASA’s
cleanup activities. Making the process transparent and accessible is important to us. This recently-created Web site is
one way NASA is providing community members with convenient access to accurate and timely information. On this page, you
can find:
-
Fact sheets
with information about environmental investigations and cleanup activities
- An
Information Repository
that identifies where hard copies of project documents are available for review
- Links to other
websites
- Information about upcoming meetings and events
For more information about NASA’s public involvement effort at the SSFL, contact Merrilee Fellows,
NASA Manager for Community Involvement for Environmental Remediation.
